Weekly Community Rowing, FREE, each Tues, 5pm till dusk, May - October, 2010, except July 27 and August 3rd. Meet at the East 96th St. boathouse at 4:30pm or the esplanade at 5pm. for "how to get there" see http://www.eastrivercrew.org/directions.html

Hook to Hook Row, FREE, Horn's Hook (depart E. 96th Street), to Red Hook (Valentino Park, Brooklyn). Attend community rowing to qualify, then RSVP below. Saturdays Sept 4 (Labor Day weekend), and Sept 18. Our first Hook to Hook Row was in October 1999!

Estuary Guide, Thanks to support from Partnership for Parks http://www.partnershipforparks.org we are creating a New York City estuary guide, and you can help! East River CREW is excited to announce an Estuary Guide illustration contest! Open to all students ages 8-16 in NYC. Funds are needed to maintain our launching spot on the esplanade: davit, ladders, boats, and boathouse. We also request support for outreach, education, environmental science, and estuary arts for youth and people of all ages.
